Update your belt, change your training goals, fix a birthday typo. The moment you save, your Study picks are cleared and regenerated from scratch. The picks you see always reflect who you are today — not who you were when you first opened the app.
Before this update, changing your belt or training goals in Profile had no effect on your Study tab. Your picks stayed the same until the following week. Now every profile save immediately clears the current week's picks and the engine regenerates them the next time you open Study.
Female practitioners now get 25 technique videos from elite women's grapplers in their pick pool: Michelle Nicolini, Ffion Davies, Kyra Gracie, Beatriz Mesquita, and others. These videos compete on quality alongside everything else — no artificial boost, just great content that fits your game.
If your training goals include competition, the engine now knows. The persona tag system behind Study picks has been expanded so competition-focused practitioners and recreational practitioners can eventually receive different content recommendations. The foundation is in place; content targeting rolls out over the next few builds.
Why this matters: Personalization only works if it stays current. A blue belt whose picks were generated when they were white is getting the wrong content. A practitioner who just updated their goals to "compete" is still seeing hobbyist picks. This update closes that loop — the engine stays in sync with your profile, automatically.
