TOMO Works Again on iOS 26

If your phone updated to iOS 26 in the last couple of weeks, TOMO broke — buttons stopped responding, recordings wouldn't start, and sessions couldn't be saved. This build fixes all of it. Update, log your next roll, and you're back.

Fix

Buttons respond again on iOS 26

On iOS 26, taps stopped registering across the app — the screen looked normal, but Save, Stop Recording, and the type-instead fallback all went dead. That's fixed. Every button in the app responds the way it should, everywhere.

  • Session logging works end to end again: record, review, save
  • The "Type instead" fallback works when you'd rather not talk
  • Nothing about your saved sessions was touched — your journal is intact
Fix

Voice recording no longer fails or freezes

Starting a recording on iOS 26 could fail outright — or worse, lock up the whole app with the timer stuck at 0:00. The audio engine under TOMO has been brought fully up to date for iOS 26, so the mic starts when you tap it.

Privacy policy in the app matches the real one

The privacy policy you can read inside TOMO now says exactly what the one at traintomo.com/privacy says, including a clearer picture of what the AI reads to coach you. No behavior changed — the words just caught up.

Security updates under the hood

The libraries TOMO is built on were refreshed, closing every critical and high-severity advisory that had piled up. Nothing you'll see — just a sounder foundation.

Why this matters: The whole point of TOMO is catching what you learned in the 90 seconds after class before it evaporates. A dead Save button doesn't just cost you an entry — it costs you that session's lesson, permanently. This build makes sure your phone updating itself never takes your journal down with it. If any session from the last two weeks didn't save, log what you remember — future you will still thank you.
