Features and improvements shipping to TOMO
A reliability build. Every call the app makes to the outside world now has a time limit, a stuck spinner at launch gives up and lets you in, and failures that used to disappear now get reported so they can be fixed. Smaller text got bigger, and the app reads better with VoiceOver.
Transcribing, extracting, saving, loading your journal: each step now has its own time limit. If the network stalls, you get a clear message and a way to try again instead of a spinner that never ends.
If TOMO could not reach its servers when you opened it, the spinner could sit there indefinitely. It now stops after a few seconds and takes you into the app, where your saved sessions are waiting.
Several failures used to vanish quietly: a session that did not save, a weekly debrief that generated but never stored. Those now raise a flag on our side the moment they happen, so they get fixed before you have to write in about them.
A few labels on the Study tab were below the size the rest of the app holds to. Everything now meets the same floor, which helps in a dim gym parking lot.
Buttons that were icons only, on onboarding and in your gym history, now announce what they do. Selectable chips report whether they are selected.
The Journal list redraws less as you scroll, so a year of sessions moves the way a week does.
Why this matters: Most of what went wrong in the beta was never a missing feature. It was the app waiting on something that was not coming back, or failing without saying so. This build closes those gaps so the next one can be about coaching.
